But, the presence of ephedra, a very hazardous supplement, renders it unsafe. Ephedra is a very toxic weight loss supplement that has been strictly prohibited from being used by the FDA. Even MLB and NFL have banned the use of Ephedra. There are a multitude of side effects that are observed with the use of this deadly supplement like heart rate irregularities, high blood pressure, sleeplessness, heart attack, seizures, and even death from strokes.  Still many illegal organizations sell this supplement through the internet due to its capability of decreasing a person’s appetite.
