The UltraSimple Diet is the creation of Dr. Mark Hyman, author of Ultrametabolism: The Simple Plan for Automatic Weight Loss and The UltraSimple Diet: Kick-Start Your Metabolism and Safely Lose Up to 10 Pounds in 7 Days. This diet plan is basically a health program spread over a period of 7 days. According to the author, it is mainly targeted towards obesity problems like toxicity and inflammation.

The UltraSimple Diet Process

1. You must eliminate bad foods from your diet, as these cause toxicity and inflammation.
2. Next, you should add good foods that are anti-inflammatory and help in detoxifying the body.
3. Detoxify your body by using UltraBroth drink and herbal laxative.
4. Anti-inflammatory UltraShakes can be used to reduce inflammation.
5. UltraBath works towards relaxing and detoxifying your body every night.
6. The last step is to reflect on your learning and experience along with maintaining a journal of your feelings during the program.

This is a vegetable broth. You can find its recipe in the book containing the diet plan. Dr. Hyman recommends dieters to drink at least 3–4 cups of UltraBroth per day. This can be taken as part of a meal or as a snack.

2. UltraShake

The recipe for Ultrashake is also included in the diet program. It aims to sustain your body, control blood sugar levels and suppress appetite. This shake contains proteins that assist in detoxification, fiber for digestion, flaxseeds for better elimination, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and phytonutrients.

3. UltraBath

Each night, you must take this 20 minute bath before going to bed. The recipe suggests a hot bath with water containing Epsom salts, baking soda and lavender oil. As a result, you will experience relaxation, better sleep and detoxification.

The book recommends you to follow the UltraSimple diet for 7 days only. You may go back toy our regular lifestyle after that or continue working on it till you achieve your ideal weight. The best results are found by maintaining the program for an additional 3 weeks.
