Highlights Of The Warrior Diet

Created by Ori Hofmekler, the Warrior Diet is a slightly controversial diet which involves nutrition and exercise with daily cycle of “undereating” in the day and “overeating” at night.

Basics of Warrior Diet

The Warrior Diet recognizes the tendency of people to eat throughout the day and overeat at night. In fact, this diet is more of an eating system rather than a diet plan. As a result, you can maintain your weight and physique.

You don’t need to control your cravings while following the Warrior Diet. Instead, it places emphasis on when you eat food. By eating at certain times of the day, your metabolism can be stimulated in a positive way. Under eating will stress your body, improve your metabolism and increase fat burning rate.

Like large predators, the Warrior Diet advices dieters to eat less during the day and more at night. You should under eat during the day, focusing on soups, fruits, vegetables and other low-fat foods. At night, you must eat one large meal which is protein based. In short, start the day with bland foods and work your way to better tasting foods in your main meals.

In comparison to other diet plans, the Warrior Diet is not a standard calorie counting diet or high exercise diet. While following this diet, you need to focus on specific rules and not eat when you aren’t truly hungry.

Workings of Warrior Diet

The Warrior Diet program includes a Fat Loss Program and exercise and nutrition regimes.

Fat Loss Program

Under the Fat Loss program, the aim is to

1. ensure detoxification of the body
2. increase utilization of body fat
3. improve utilization of carbohydrates as fuel

The result is enhancement of overall metabolic rate and improvement of the body’s capacity to lose fat.

Exercise and Nutrition Programs

Included in this part of the Warrior Diet are short, intense strength and aerobic exercises. These have to be combined with pre-workout and post-workout meals. The aim is to cut down on fat while maintaining muscle tone.

Advantages of Warrior Diet

• This diet is capable of helping dieters in meeting their weight loss goals.
• With so many variations, this diet appeals to majority of the dieters.

Disadvantages of Warrior Diet

• For those who like to have 3 meals a day, this diet is not easy to follow.
• The Warrior Diet encourages use of organic food which cannot be afforded by everyone.
• A lot of exercise is included in this system, making it tough to keep up with.

Warrior Diet Conclusion

For dieters who are already fit, this diet seems to work well for weight maintenance. Overweight or obese people may find it hard to follow this diet for more than a week unless they get regular motivation.

If you are searching for a quick weight loss solution, the Warrior Diet may not be the best option. In such a case, you should buy a diet supplement containing thermogenic compound to burn fat at all times.
